
Christine has painted for the last 25 years. She currently works in mixed media collage, acrylics, photography and does assemblages.
Christine taught art for 20 years. She taught art for group homes in Fairfax County and for County Park Authority. Christine M Jenkins Fine Art started in 2015. Currently she holds painting classes at the Workhouse Art Center in Lorton Va.

Christine uses different mediums but mostly does Mixed Media Collage and Assemblages. She mostly paints with acrylics paint on canvass. Watercolors are used in an art journal and for traveling. She paints from photograph's of hers also.
Working in various mediums enhances my creativity. I paint on canvas, paper, wood, slate and ceramic plates.

Christine travels to Europe, various beaches and the mountains of West Virginia. She gets inspiration from nature and paints many ocean related subjects. Recently her paintings and collages reflect nature, places She's been.
